There are dozens of great trails around the Tay Valley from steep technical turn bashing to flowing trails with a few roots and rocks thrown in for good measure. Ben has been tackling some recently on his shiny new Santa Cruz V10 so if you haven’t checked out his YouTube channel then you should, and you can find it HERE!

After a morning exploring the trails you will be expertly guided to a Pub where you can grab some lunch before spinning back up for a few more runs before it’s time to enjoy a relaxing evening safe in the knowledge you know your bike and riding a lot better.

    Who is Jordi Cortes?

So you can get to know Jordi a little better we’ve included a few links to give you an idea of what he gets up to during a typical season as Global Technician for Fox Racing Shox.

    The Downtime Podcast

Chris Hall chatted to Jordi way back in episode #7, he talks about his background, what led him to his current job and how suspension affects your ride, check it out HERE. This is what Chris had to say about Jordi’s podcast

“Jordi is in the thick of it at downhill and enduro races, looking after lots of the pros, as well as running pre-season test sessions with many of the top teams. He explains some of the basic suspension terminology and what it means, talks us through suspension testing with the pros and what we can learn from that, feel vs time vs data, and how to set up your suspension from scratch, along with a lot of other great stuff.”

As Chris says, Jordi spends a lot of his time in the pits at World Cup Downhill races, the Santa Cruz Syndicate aren’t short of characters, the Between Two Puzzlers series has some great insight delivered in the only way the Syndicate know how! Riders like Greg Minnaar know their suspension to the millimetre, mastering the art of communicating that feeling to their suspension technician. Others riders find their own way to the suspension setup they want…
