The +3 Mission

We believe riders gain confidence and consistently improve skills on a bike with a customised setup.

Bike Confidence

+3 developed on the trails, we kept seeing riders on bikes simply not performing the way they could be. Our experience and shared knowledge could solve this and help riders simply enjoy riding even more.

Suspension often stands out when not performing correctly, but more subtle adjustments to a bike can also have a huge impact. Correcting tyre pressures or setting up handlebars and brake lever position have the potential to make leaps in rider confidence.

Translating knowledge and experience into a bespoke bike setup will embed confidence in any rider and the small tweaks we make are tested live on the trail.

Confidence in how hard riders can push their tyres, knowing suspension is tuned to their riding style and feeling the correct body position combine to send riders into the next stage in their progression.

Ride Confidence

With confidence planted between the wheels the next step is to develop skills. As with bike setup there are key areas that make a tangible difference the moment they’re employed. One major advantage of +3 MTB coaching is that riders develop faster simply because the elements of their bike setup holding them back have been corrected.

We work on dynamic body position developing the ability to read a trail and react autonomously. Practice is key but methods are embedded that allow all levels of rider to develop, whether that’s on local trails or returning to +3.
