Coaching in pairs is a really brilliant way to progress both riding and bike setup. Riding with a mate or partner means you see first hand how adjustments to bike setup and technique impact the way someone rides. Focussing first on bike setup we dial your suspension, adjust tyre pressures and record key settings to be refined throughout the day.
We ride a bespoke route based on the kind of trail features you both want to progress your skills. Even if one rider is more confident than the other we have trails to suit mixed abilities. We always make sure you are riding well within your limits so you can focus on learning.

SETUP + COACHING
The first part of a pairs MTB coaching session focusses in on bike setup, seeing what adjustments mean live on the trail is hugely beneficial. Changes improve confidence and control, seeing them first hand impresses the difference which can then be tried by the other rider.
Rolling on bikes dialled for each rider we move into skills coaching. Using demonstrations, video and simply watching others ride a huge amount can be learned in a short space of time. We get into jumps, drops and anything else when required by you. We also look closely at cornering, braking and general bike handling so you start gaining speed from turns rather then scrubbing it off.
Ahead of the day a short questionnaire helps direct the route we plan so we cover everything you both want to. If a phone call or Zoom chat between the group is easier then that can easily be arranged. Our focus is on you and making sure solid foundations are built for each level of progression and confidence grows as you both do as riders.
After our day in the saddle you will both receive all of your settings, photos from the day plus a video to help you recall the techniques we’ve worked on.
